The family suite was large enough for our whole crew, including the two little ones! We had our own little slice of paradise with beautiful grounds to stroll through and a peaceful atmosphere that was perfect for our family to unwind.
My wife says that the beds were a bit too firm for comfort.

My stay at Chateau Des Monts was absolutely delightful, featuring spacious rooms with beautiful antique furnishings. The serene garden was a joy, with blooming peonies filling the air with their lovely scent. Breakfast was made-to-order, including delicious eggs!

The chateau's appearance captivated me immediately. it’s a stunning 19th-century building. The owner greeted us with warmth, despite the language barrier. The family suite exceeded my expectations in size, providing ample space for our family. The beautiful grounds offered peaceful areas to relax and enjoy nature. Electric car charging was convenient and worked perfectly. Breakfast surprised me with its variety, although I later learned it came at an extra cost, which should have been clarified during check-in. One downside was the firmness of the bed. if you're used to softer mattresses, this might pose an issue. Our room had no visible air conditioning, which might be uncomfortable during peak summer. Weak water pressure in the shower was disappointing for a stay like this. Despite these issues, I would consider returning, but perhaps during a cooler season.

Gorgeous 19th-century chateau just 10 minutes outside of Bayeux, with beautiful, serene grounds perfect for relaxing. The family suite was huge and comfortable. the breakfast was plentiful, featuring made-to-order eggs. The owner, though limited in English, was quite helpful. Close to D-Day locations, making it ideal for history buffs.
